Who can subscribe directly to Blue Ocean ATS?

Only U.S. broker dealers registered with the SEC and a member of a SRO may subscribe directly.

Direct subscription to Blue Ocean ATS is limited to:

  • U.S. broker dealers registered with the SEC.

  • Firms that are members of at least one U.S. self-regulatory organization (SRO).

All other market participants must connect through a broker dealer that is already a Subscriber.

This includes:

  • Retail investors

  • Institutional investors

  • Foreign financial institutions

These parties should work with their preferred U.S. brokerage firm to request access.
