What does SecurityTradingStatusType represent in Blue Ocean ATS market data?
SecurityTradingStatusType shows the regulatory state of a security: quoting, trading, halted, or paused.
The SecurityTradingStatusType field reflects the current state of a security, using data from the Securities Information Processor (SIP). It designates whether a symbol is tradable, halted, or only accepting quotes.
Quoting: Market is accepting quotes, but trading is not active
Trading: Security is actively tradable
Halted: Security is halted
Paused: Security is paused
NOTE: Orders are only accepted when a symbol is in an active Trading state. Blue Ocean ATS does not accept orders while a symbol is in Quoting.
