Are Blue Ocean ATS executions published to the SIP?
No. The SIP closes before Blue Ocean ATS begins trading.
The Securities Information Processor (SIP) operates only during regular U.S. market hours. Blue Ocean ATS trades overnight from 8:00 PM ET to 4:00 AM ET, outside of SIP’s operating window.
Executions from Blue Ocean ATS are distributed through direct data feeds. They are visible to clients in real time but will not print to the SIP.
